    Elimination Book in Khmer language
    21 June 2024

Rei Foundation Limited is proud to announce its support for Bophana Center’s publishing of a new Khmer translation of Rithy Panh's book The Elimination. The Elimination juxtaposes the harrowing experiences of the thirteen year-old author during the Khmer Rouge regime with his interview of one of the genocide's perpetrators, Comrade Duch, some thirty years later. This important work has never been available in the predominant language of Cambodia, Khmer, and it is hoped that this new translation will allow the youth of Cambodia to interact with their own history through the lens of one of their most important cultural figures for the first time. The new translation of The Elimination, published by Bophana Center, is scheduled to be launched at the end of July 2024.
